MSF Experienced RiderCourse (ERC)
For riders who already have basic skills. Similar to the BRC but moves at a faster pace and
you have to be on your own motorcycle
. An excellent refresher course for practicing and sharpening your riding skills. Includes an informal classroom component for discussing safety concepts based on your past riding experiences and current knowledge. If you do not need the license waiver component (no classroom activities and no written test), there is a "Skills Practice" offering. Successful completion of this course, which consists of one and half hours of practical classroom activities and four and half hours of riding instruction on the range, conducted over two sessions, plus a knowledge and skills evaluation tests, waives the license road test in your state. Completion of the course also earns you an insurance discount, typically 10-15% depending on your insurance company. Provide them with a copy of your MSF completion card.
* There are two ways to obtain your motorcycle license. One is to take a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Massachusetts Rider Education Program (MREP) approved course. The other is to take a road test administered by the Massachusetts RMV.
Our MSF Experienced RiderCourse (ERC) is a Massachusetts Rider Education Program (MREP) approved motorcycle safety course.
Tuition for ERC is $195.00
